Bipolar mania is normally defined as a state of mood elevation accompanied by irritability, racing thoughts, aggressiveness, increased level of activity, poor judgment etc. Bipolar mania is one of the most common symptoms experienced by people who have bipolar disorder. Increased level of energy
The bipolar patient may experience an increased level of energy due to bipolar mania that may be characterized by any of the following:
a. Insufficient Sleep
b. Increase in the level of activity
c. Feeling Restless
Speech Issues
Having bipolar mania may also result to problems with speech such as rapid speech, senseless chatters, etc.
Poor Judgment
Bipolar mania may also bring about poor judgment in the patient. More often than not, it brings about actions that may be considered poor judgment such as overspending, behaving impulsively, sexual promiscuity, etc.
